I wanted something that could have an easy to use headless CMS while being a staticly built site, so I decieded to use Gatsby. The primary reason was to allow me the flexability to edit my website's design by detaching the content using Contentful. I used one of the starters and edited it to fit my personal design choices.
So far, I've added a second catagory of projects to the original posts. I've adjusted the about section to pull from a specific content type called
person which I can have as a central repository of my social links, contact info, and a short and long version of my bio. I've also changed or edited most of the visual styling to match components of my favorite portfolios or websites while adding my own interpretation.
